The tagifier is a great
way to get a shitload of shots in a short amount of time.
with that benefit comes some responsibility to tag pictures correctly
and accurately. here are some handy do’s and don’ts
that will make this a worthwhile endeavor for everyone involved:
- add tags that will reflect
what is seen in the photo. if the picture is of a woman lying
on a couch outside in the snow, then woman, lying, couch, outside
and snow would be helpful tags. is she blonde, brunette? naked or
clothed? white or asian? day or night? these are all tags that would
properly be used to search for such a picture.
- try to use tags that would be input to a search engine to find the picture you are tagging, as in the example above. if you were searching for this picture, which words would you put in the search engine to find it? those are the words that should be used as tags. - check your spelling. misspelled words (usually) are not used to search for pictures. some words lend themselves to misspelling (flickr and flicker for example), but usually should not be used. if you are unsure of how a word is spelled (happens to us all), open your favorite word processing program and type it out, then spell check it. takes two seconds, and will help the tagging process. - try to think outside the box (but not too far outside). is the picture in black and white? color? is it a person (people)? artwork? look for more than just the obvious. - look for things in the photo that jump out at you. is the model wearing a green necklace? red panties? is there a mirror behind her? tagging with these words will allow a searcher to narrow down to more specific pictures. - remove bad tags or tags that are obviously wrong. there is an x next to each tag already submitted on the picture (dependent on your drunk level?). if you are looking at a picture of a pekinese puppy and you see a tag that says "hot asian chick", do us all a favor and delete it. - be honest about the tag. if you are tagging the photo buck naked, then the person in the photo should be buck naked. if she is wearing a t-shirt, she is not buck naked. if she is wearing a bikini, "naked" is not a correct tag. if you see 6 tits in the photo, don’t tag it "seven tits". if the photo is of one woman, don’t use the tags "women" and "chicks" and "tricks". learn to count dammit&33; - have fun tagging. it’s great to see all the cool pics, and the points will move your level up nicely. just be honest and fair. - tag with duplicate tags;
you may be given credit initially, but these tags will be found down
the road, and you will lose points&33; very depressing. when you have
the photo up that you are going to tag, scroll down and make sure
the tag(s) you are going to submit aren’t already submitted. you can
also simply hit ctrl and f3 at the same time, and do a page search
for the tag you want to submit (if there are already a lot of tags
assigned). if that tag is already assigned, don’t submit it&33;
- assign tags to a photo that already has a hundred tags. unless you see a glaring omission, there’s probably enough tags already, and you’ll be more likely to add a duplicate tag. just move on to the next picture (there’s plenty&33;). - assign tags that have nothing to do with the photo. again, these tags will be removed, and you will lose the points you gained (not to mention more work for our already frustrated drunken editor). he gets mad when he has to do more work on this site, and you won’t like him when he’s mad. trust me. - examples of blatently bad tagging include:
- mass tag. it seems some folks have 40 or 50
tags copied to the clipboard, and just paste those tags to every
picture. this is one reason you end up with incorrect tags, not
every picture has all the qualities of all the tags you are pasting.
if you want to paste the word "tit" on every naked picture where
you can see a females’ tit, knock yourself out. but posting "tit,
titty, topless, nipple" on every picture you come across just doesn’t
cut it (especially if there isn’t a naked tit in the picture!).
cut it out! also, there is a much larger chance that you will submit
duplicates.
