Can you be in love with two different persons?

I've always thought the answer to this question to be yes. Even though my head tells me that the answer should be no. What do you think? If it's real love...is it possible to love someone else? Or is that just lust?

I think it is possible. Love has no limits.But there is a but. But... also if it's a solid true love sort of thing, then my answer is no. It isn't possible. In true love you would want no one else, period.

I agree with Rodeo. You can like or have some feelings for more than one but LOVE is unlimited only for ONE.

I think everyone feels the difference when it truly happens.

I think it completely possible to love two people at the same time. Usually it's because you are in love with specific things about each of them. Of course, if you can find that one person who has everything you want, need, crave, desire, then no. You couldn't fall for someone else when everything you wanted (or didn't know you wanted) is right in front of you.

Absolutely possible. And love for one doesn't make love for the other any less. Also, love for different people can "feel different" if that makes any sense.

Valid points. I think that in an ideal world your love for the significant other would make you totally deaf dumb and blind to anybody else...though the thought of being so totally wrapped up in one person is scary. But in truth it's hardly ever like that. Then again...that's assuming that our partner would be perfect for us in every way. Is it even fair to expect a partner to be everything we need or want at any given time and in any situation? For me this answer is no. I don't think anyone can be everything we need. That is why even in the best of relationships we still hang on to our friends. But what if a friend becomes something more?

I just think it would be difficult to be completely in love with two people. But I do think it is possible to have a small fleeting crush on someone while in a serious relationship. Like Sea said- its pretty hard for one person to posesses everything you are looking for.

I think you can lust heavily for two people. I think that it can feel like love. You need them both. If you don't talk to one you miss them. If you don't see the other you get sad. That sort of thing. I do think that love could follow this type of lust or come out of it. And I feel it could be an everlasting type love.

You can love two or more people at the same time, but it would have to be the kind of love that is different than the other. You may love one person for totally different reasons than the way you love someone else.

Well Im sure it's possible, but it would rock your face off emotionally thats for sure.

I think it would be rather difficult to love more than one person, but
its not impossible. I dont think Id be able to be in love with more
than one person at a time, but Im just spekaing for me. People are
strange, so you just never know.

There is love for Children. That is pure .There is no greater love than that.of a mothers.we all know that.

I dont see the differance between that and true love of another ersonYes sex in one type but if you truly and purely love the person it should not be a condition of your love.Women stay with men unsatisfied sexually all the time.Why?Cause whetherv they realize it or not their love is deeper than sex for that person

You love a daughter in a slightly different way than you love a son.Then why is it so surprising that it is the same pure love with a artner just a little differen(wanting ex)than loving a son which is alittle different than loving a dauter which is a little different than loving relative and on andon .The purest love is all the same

Oh God yes... And sometimes it really kills me too. Sometimes its all cool and its one of those "transitions" where I'm moving from one person to the other and other times its one of those things where I have a G-friend and then I meet someone and talk with her enough that stuff starts to happen to my mind...
